Sara Hamilton - Assistant Director

Starting out in theatre, I thought I wanted to be an actor. Then when I started getting into film, I realised I wanted to know everything about how film is brought together. I've gained experience in a few departments now and this will be my 2nd time as a 1st AD.

Since graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a BA in music in 2020, I have been teaching piano lessons and taking my first steps into the world of freelancing. Although I am primarily working as a cartoonist at the moment, I am looking forward to becoming more involved in my much-neglected other love: composing and arranging music for screen and theatre.
